CCTV System

CCTV system is one of the most important parts of any telecom system as it provides video surveillance for passengers’ safety concerns. It does not only act as a video safety surveillance for passengers but also for stations, Operation Control Centers, Backup Control Centers, etc. A CCTV system can be monitored by the station-level staff and central-level staff.

Time Distribution System (TDS)

Whenever we visit any metro or Indian railway station, there are multiple analog or digital slave clocks are displayed, these clocks are the final objects of this Time Distribution System which is synchronized by the master clock at OCC or BCC. It is a fully GPS-integrated time distribution system.

Passenger Information Display System (PIDS)

PIDS are the displays at the metros where important information for passengers is displayed including pre-determined, fixed, pre-formatted messages, normal train operation, safety, train delays, and emergencies. These displays are also a vital part of any metro system and thus will play a role in the telecom system of the Indore Metro & Bhopal Metro Project.

Public Address System (PAS)

PAS is integrated with the PIDS. With the help of PAS, voice announcements can be made for the passengers as well as staff members. PAS or Public Adress System provides information regarding the running train status through live announcements or pre-recorded announcements.

Video Transmission System (VTS)

Video Transmission System or VTS is an important system of the telecom system of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited as it helps to provide a wireless and seamless video transmission from on-board train cameras to the VTS workstations.

Tetra Radio Communication System (TRCS):

TRCS is also a crucial part of the Indore Metro Telecom system as it can help in wireless communication between on-boarded train operators and OCC/BCC. Tetra Radio communication is the most reliable and secure communication network of the operational works. By using it, OCC can make live announcements on a running train while it can also be used for Passenger Emergency Calls in any abnormal situation.
