Shoes
Special types of shoes are provided to the workers to avoid any foot injury by falling heavy objects on the feet. In these shoes, the toe side is protected with steel so that it can work as a shield for the feet against any object. Apart from that, the out material of the shoes is also made up of leather that protects workers from acid-like substances.
The sole is made up of Polyurethane (PU) and provides a rigid base to the shoes that protect workers from any sharp object.

Indore Metro Workers Training
Here we were talking about the Indore Metro safety equipment for staff but somewhere, training is also a part of Indore Metro Safety Rules At Construction Site For Staff & Public as well. For this, every day, a 15 to 20-minute training of the workers is conducted by the supervisor.
Apart from that, there are several training programs conducted by the Metro Rail Corporation including internal training (by Senior Staff Professionals) and external training (by Experts) which lie every 2 months. These training programs allow the workers to learn about handling different kinds of disasters, how to react in panic situations, first aid, etc.
These training programs also train staff in health and safety, height safety, electrical safety, material safety, behavior (non-harassment), HIRA (Hazard Identification), power tools handling, handling of chemicals, vehicle movement handling, and first aid training.

- The construction site is surrounded by barricades to stop the entry of any local or unauthorized vehicle entry inside the construction area.
- Special care is taken to ensure that unnecessary dust is not generated in any way so that the public does not face any kind of problem.
- When the construction work takes place above the ground level, a 3-layered net is spread to catch any tool or small equipment falling on citizens or their properties.
- Proper lights are provided around the construction sites so that citizens can identify potentially risky areas even at night.
