As of the reports provided by the officials, the Indore Metro Project and Bhopal Metro Project have achieved a speed of 2.5 times more than before as the officials want to complete the trial run on the set time and recently Indore Metro Safety run also successfully accomplished that clearly tells us that from now on all the work like trial runs and commercial runs will be completed on time.

Indore Metro Safety Run
If you are quite confused between the Indore Metro Safety Run and Trial Run then here I am to clear all your confusion by providing the exact information about the subject. Actually, the Indore Metro trial run is expected to be conducted by the end of September months, and in the ongoing preparation for the same, there was a pre-run has to be conducted that is called the Safety run in which all the systems are tested including escalators, lifts, track, fire fighting system, etc.
For this Indore Metro Safety Run, the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, Mr. Manish Singh arrived to personally check all the systems. In his presence, a 400 to 500-meter safety run was conducted from the Inspection Bay Line of the Gandhi Nagar Metro Station.
During this Safety run, the speed of the train was kept too slow, there could be any reason behind this. Apart from that the horn of the train was also tested. If you have missed the information about when the metro trains came to Indore, then let me tell you that on the late night of 30th August, three metro coaches were brought from Sanand, Gujarat to Gandhi Nagar station of Indore.
Everything is going on the track at a high speed and soon people of Indore will get the chance to explore their city by using the city mass transit system.
After completing the successful Indore Metro Safety Run, MD Manish Singh also inspected the Gandhi Nagar Metro station by reviewing the escalator, lift, fire fighting system, track, etc. He also talked to the workers and praised their passion as they were still working even in the rain. Actually, the safety run was conducted amid rain which might be the reason for the slow speed of the train.

Indore Metro Trial Run
The Indore Metro construction began in 2019 and Indore Metro passed the safety run on 9 September. Soon the Indore Metro trial run will be conducted and it is expected to be done at the end of this month.
This trial run will be conducted on a 5.9-kilometer route that will include 5 stations. As of now, everything is going according to the plan, and is also expected that all the operations will be executed as per the plan.
While reviewing the Gandhi Nagar Metro station, MD Manish Singh also claimed that the remaining work will be completed on time and Indore Metro will be ready for its trial run.

Indore Metro Project Planning
As we are talking everything is going according to plan when it is about the preparation, execution, trials, and all that, Let’s have a look at the Indore Metro Project planning as well.
The foundation of the Indore Metro Project began in 2019 with the planning of 5 Metro routes that are labeled with different names – Line 1A, Line 1B, Line 2, Line 3, and Line 4. Out of these 5 corridors or routes, one was approved for construction which is Line 3 also called the Yellow Line or the Priority Corridor.
The Yellow line is a ring line that will connect Palasia to Bhawarsala which is a 33.53 kilometers long route with 30 elevated, underground, and on-ground metro stations. The construction work of the Indore Metro Project is on fire at its speed.
If everything continues as per plan as it is now, then the commercial trials of Indore Metro will also start in April 2024, and just a month after this, Indore Metro will open for its passengers to tour the city.
