And the good news is that, on 30 September Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will flag the Indore Metro Trial Run.
It will be a mega-public event and the time is set for 4 pm. The trial run will start from the Gandhi Nagar Metro Station with the presence of a special guest – Urban and Development Minister Bhupendra Singh. All the preparations have been made for the trial as per the officials.

A few days ago, Indore successfully passed the safety trial run which was a 5.8-kilometer long run. The Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation, Mr. Manish Singh also attended the event and personally visited all the systems of the Metro. He reviewed the fire fighting system, escalators, lifts, track, etc., and confirmed that all the work was going right and at a good speed.
During the Indore Metro Safety Trial Run, the speed of the run was kept quite slow because of the rain. Along with the Safety trial run, all the pre-testings are completed and now the people of Indore will witness the final trial run of Indore Metro.

MP Shankar Lalwani and collector Ilayaraja T, IMC commissioner Harshika Singh also attended the meeting and promised to take part in the trial run event because it will be a historic moment for the city and its people.

In order to celebrate the joy of the Indore Metro Trial Run, Collector Ilayaraja shared all the details regarding the trial run and invited citizens to the mega-public event. According to him, this will directly and indirectly bring more development to the city. This milestone will bring more investment to the city.

As per the official reports, the metro train will cover a distance of 6km in order to complete the trial run.
