So Delhi Metro is the responsibility of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation which is a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Delhi. Both Governments hold half and equal partnerships in DMRC.
While Indore Metro Rail Project is the responsibility of Madhya Prades Metro Rail Corporation Limited owned and governed by the Government of India and the Government of MP.
Number Of Corridors Or Lines
Delhi Metro is one of the largest metro systems in India and is operational since 2002. As of now, the Delhi Metro system has a total of 9 operational lines or corridors that are named as follows – Red Line, Yellow Line, Blue Line, Green Line, Violet Line, Airport Express Line, Pink Line, Magenta Line, and Grey Line. All the corridors were constructed and inaugurated in different years while the expansion of the Delhi Metro is also planned which 8 lines will be expanded.
If we talk about the Indore Metro project which is currently in the development phase then the total number of proposed corridors is 11, out of which 5 corridors are approved and one is being constructed as we can see. These 5 corridors are named as Line 1A, Line 1B, Line 2, Line 3, and Line 4. Line 3 is the corridor under construction as of now which is also referred to as the priority corridor and Yellow Line.

Length
Delhi Metro Rail System Vs Indore Metro Rail System has the biggest difference in its length. The Delhi Metro system length is 350.42 km while the Indore Metro system length is 124 km and 33.53 km is the part of first phase.
Train Length
In the Indore Metro system, the length of trains will be 3 coaches only while Delhi Metro has an average of 6 to 8 coaches length trains.

Daily Ridership
The Delhi Metro system has been operational for more than 2 decades and is the largest metro network in India as well, hence daily ridership capacity is also very high in comparison to other metros. As per the information available, Delhi metro daily ridership is approximately 46.26 lakh while we can not consider Indore metro daily ridership as the operations are not begun yet but it is expected to be 2,50,000.
Track Guage
In the Delhi metro system, there are 2 types of track gauges has been used. These are 1,676 mm broad gauge and 1,435 mm standard gauge. In the Indore Metro system, we will be able to see only 1,435 mm standard gauges.

Speed
Delhi Metro trains are set on an average speed of 45 km/h and on a top speed of 120 km/h while Indore Metro trains will be allowed to run on an average speed of 44 km/h and on a top speed of 90 km/h.
