Meerut Metro Rail Project is owned and operated by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation which is a joint venture between the Government of India and the government states of Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi established for the proper planning, development, and operations of certain metro projects in India.
There is another interesting thing about the Meerut Metro Project that it will run along with the RapidX on the same route.
Each metro project that has been developed or to be developed has full financial and development support from the Central Government of India.
Length Of Metro Project
Indore Metro Project is planned to be built in multiple phases and the whole network will be a total of 124 km in length with 11 corridors webbing across the city. Out of these 11 corridors, 5 corridors are approved and one corridor or line named Yellow Line or Priority Corridor is currently under construction which is a 33.53 km long route and expected to be operational till August 2024.
Meerut Metro Rail Project is planned for a 38.6 km long route which will be constructed in 2 phases. In the first phase of the implementation, a 23.6 km long route will be constructed while in the second phase, the 15 km long route will be constructed.
Train Length
In Indore, the metro trains will consist of 3 to 6 coaches to carry passengers from one destination to another. This number of coaches in metro trains may vary as per the needs. In Meerut Metro, the length of the metro trains will be 3 coaches to serve the daily commuters.

Daily Ridership
Both the metro projects are currently Under Construction and by keeping certain aspects in mind the daily ridership number is estimated, and these calculative aspects are the population of both cities, the availability of existing transit systems, demand of rapid transit systems, etc.
