Length of Metro System
In Indore Metro System project planning, there are a total of 11 corridors are proposed with a total length of 124 km. Out of these 11 corridors, 5 corridors are approved and these are named – Line 1A, Line 1B, Line 2, Line 3, and Line 4. As of now, Line 3 is under construction which is a 33.53 km long route.
The Pune Metro Rail Project is also planned for a 129 km-long route, out of which 29.8 km long 2 lines named Purple Line and Aqua Line are operational while 30.95 km line is under construction.
Train Length
Indore Metro trains will be 3 to 6 coaches long. The metro train length is decided based on need and demand. In Pune also, the metro train length is 3 coaches only.

Daily Ridership
In the Indore Metro Rail network, initially, the number of daily ridership is expected to be 2,50,000, this number may vary from the original and will be more clear once the operations will begin in Indore.
