  • Address – Scheme No 54, Indore (Near Vijay Nagar)
  • Timings – 7 am – 10 pm

Meghdoot Garden or Meghdoot Upvan is one of the most popular gardens in Indore. It is a perfect place to relax and have some quality time in the lap of nature, trees, and breezing air. Here I have included this garden in my list as it is situated on the Metro route and one can easily approach this upvan via metro.

You have to take an entry ticket worth Rs. 5. I have shared the Meghdoot Garden address above, you can go there any day between 7 am – 10 pm with your friends and family.

Regional Park

  • Address – Kasturba Gram, Indore
  • Timings – 10 am – 10 pm

Regional Park is one of the most visited parks in Indore. It is spread over a large land area and has a lot of activities to do. Regional Park can be your place to feel relaxed, joyful, and peaceful due to the vibe this place has and I think this is because of the nature, trees, flowers, lake beside it, and all that. The park has been designed in a great way that you can have fun with your friends and family here.

At night, there is a light show as well which increases its beauty by multiple times. Here I have added this park to my list as you can reach out there by using the metro.

You have to pay Rs. 25 per head for entry to this park but it will all be worth it when you visit this amazing place flooded with beauty, nature, and peace.

Shivaji Vatika

  • Address – White Church Colony, Square, Indore
  • Timings – 24 Hours

Shivaji Vatika is recently renovated and a palace-like structure has been created in this garden also called a Shivaji Chowk. Here, a statue of Maharaja Chhatrapati Shivaji is placed and a small garden is created. After the creation of the palace behind the Chowk added 4 moons to this garden. It looks so elegant, especially in the night when the yellow lights are on in the Palace walls, the black statue of Maharaja Shivaji blossoms up against these yellow lights.

Shivaji Vatika is open for 24 hours for 7 days and there are no entry fees. You can visit Shivaji Vatika with your friends and family any time.

Lalbagh Palace Garden

  • Address – Revenue Colony, Indira Nagar, Indore
  • Timings – 10:15 am–5 pm

Lalbagh Palace was the residential royal palace of the Holkar Dynasty. Here we will not talk about the Palace as our main objective is to list up the parks near Indore metro stations. If we consider the history, then it is said that Lalbagh Palace had a 20-acre rose garden. As of now, there is a large area has been occupied under the campus of this palace but most of the region is general while the Palace has a little garden beside its building.

Anyone can visit Lalbagh Palace Garden as it has free entry but you have to pay an entry fee if you want to see the palace from inside. The times to visit the palace and garden are 10 am to 5 pm.

Metro Stations Near Parks In Indore

Till now I told you about the parks where you can go by metro, and now I will tell you about metro stations from where you can go to these parks or gardens. So let’s see which are the metro stations near parks in Indore.

  • Meghdoot Garden If you want to visit Meghdoot Garden by using the metro train, so you can get down at Meghdoot Garden metro station and go inside the garden after purchasing an entry ticket.
  • Regional Park – Just like Meghdoot Garden, Regional Park will also have a metro station with the name Regional Park Metro Station, so you will be able to reach the garden easily.
  • Shivaji Vatika – To visit Shivaji Vatika, you have to search for the nearest metro station as there is no metro station in this place. If you choose Bhawarkuan aur Palasia, then you can take an iBus to reach Shivaji Vatika.
  • Lalbagh Palace Garden – To visit the Lalbagh Palace Garden, you can get down at the Collectorate Office Metro Station and then walk to the palace or take a bus.
